My History
Originally from a small farming community in Western Pennsylvania, I moved to Plymouth in 1978, where I taught high school English for 19 years. Often my students would ask me if I hadn't been a teacher, what other career would I have pursued. My answer always was, "I would have been a lawyer." For four years I taught school during the day and attended law school at night. I graduated from New England School of Law in 1994.
My paternal grandmother was my strongest influence as a child, instilling the need to work hard and to always be mindful of the needs of others. My committment to education law, family law, and my community involvement have enabled me to fulfill those attributes.
